UMFA Family Backpacks
Our friends at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts made these amazing backpacks to help you explore some of the cool things in our county! You can check out these free backpacks anytime that you come to the Brigham City Museum! Each backpack contains hands-on and close-looking activities focused on individual art objects and the cultures they represent. Family backpacks provide a more compelling array of hands-on materials and multisensory activities than traditional paper and pencil family guides.
The Brigham City Museum has backpacks to the Spiral Jetty and the Sun Tunnels. Visit https://umfa.utah.edu/visit/family-visitors/#Family-Backpacks for more information on these backpacks!
If you would like to know if a backpack is available, you can also give us a call at 435-226-1439 and ask to be put on the waiting list. We ask that you only have the backpack for a week at a time before returning it to the museum.
Some things to remember when exploring: Make sure to take lots of water, sunscreen, snacks, and anything else you might need. Make sure your car has enough gas to get there and back to a gas station.
